By using flockmath.com (the "Site") you agree to these terms. Read them once. They're short, in plain English, and we'll update this date if anything changes.

1. Acceptable use

You may use Flockmath for personal or commercial reference, free of charge. You may not:

  • Scrape the Site at a rate that interferes with normal operation.
  • Reproduce calculator output as your own without attribution.
  • Use Flockmath to build a competing product that simply re-skins our content.
  • Attempt to compromise the Site's security or integrity.

2. Calculator results are estimates, not professional advice

Every calculator on Flockmath produces an estimate based on widely-used poultry-keeping guidelines. Results are intended to help you make informed decisions — they are not a substitute for veterinary care, agricultural extension consultation, or local building codes.

Specifically:

  • If a bird is sick or injured, see a poultry veterinarian.
  • If you're building a structure, check local codes and your HOA before finalizing plans.
  • If you're managing a large or commercial flock, work with a livestock specialist.

3. No warranty

The Site is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee that every calculation, breed profile, or guide is free of error.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flockmath and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages arising from your use of the Site, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages. If you build a coop based on a calculator and a hawk takes a hen through a gap in the hardware cloth, we're sorry — but it's not on us.

5. Intellectual property

Site content (calculator code, copy, illustrations, design) is © Flockmath unless otherwise noted. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back. Do not republish entire articles or calculator implementations.

Breed names, university extension references, and other third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

6. Third-party services

We use Google AdSense to serve ads and Google Analytics to measure traffic. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their respective services. See our privacy policy for details.

7. Modifications to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page always reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Site for any user who violates these terms.
